My wife and I had a fantastic dining experience here tonight. Our waiter, Jarron (I might be spelling that incorrectly), did an outstanding job. Since we were visiting New Orleans, we didn't expect to find such an excellent Mexican restaurant. We started with the ceviche and cucumber chips, and this is the first place I've been to where they prepared it right in front of us. Next, we ordered guacamole, which was also made at our table. We shared a mixed grill dish, and it was perfect. Everything was cooked just right and incredibly flavorful. In a city famous for crawfish and seafood gumbo, this place is definitely worth stepping away from the typical New Orleans fare. Enjoy!

I visited during the middle of a weekday for lunch and found the restaurant to be well-staffed. The host was very friendly, but unfortunately, our server didn't seem happy to be there. Despite being the only table she was attending to, it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. When my lunch finally came, the enchiladas looked as if they had been sitting out for hours and were very dry—extremely dry, in fact. They had just slapped some sour cream on the plate to make the dish look more appealing. Considering the price, it was a huge disappointment. I hadn’t been there in years and was really looking forward to my meal, but now I don’t plan to return. Such a letdown!
