Great service and eating. the staff was very friendly, including the assistent and general manager. our waitress Hannah was amazing and super sweet. we can't expect to go back when we're in new orleans.
To go hard rock is a tradition of us. This is not the biggest, but it has the classic hard rock flair that they love and look in a hrc. location is directly on bourbon not far from canal street, just a convenient footpath. there are no parking spaces in front of location. The gift shop is small and right in front of the main entrance, contains all essential elements that they need like pencils, charms and bags. it can be very crowded so that reservations are suggested if they have a party larger than two and want to come for a sit-down menu. as a couple we tend to go into the bar and sit when we can wait. eating was good as they expect from a hr and not disappointed. I tried the steak salad (8oz grilled steak on a bed of fresh mixed green, which was sat in a blue cheese vinaigrette, with pickled red planks, red paprika and Roma tomatoes, finished with crispy planks and blue cheese crumbs) for the first time at this place and loved it. huge part, lots of meat and more than I could eat in a session! connected to my old fashion well.
I am not a fan of many chain restaurants, nor am I a fan of visiting a chain restaurant during the vacation. when we went into the door and received the warm greeting from the credible contributors, I realized that this was not her typical hard rock cafe. a combination of the louisiana charme and a highly effective gm makes this place clear what it is. the historical decoration of this hard rock was quite impressive, they also had a photo spot that was very heavily used while we were there and a beautiful note. a casual and comfortable dining room that is not too loud in a restaurant like this is a bit difficult to find. while eating in a chain restaurant I find the best options are burger or pizzas, I go with what I know! the burger and the pizza are here well. this is a place where one can expect that the gm, shane tucker, on the floor with the paragliders check in, he definitely navigated our dinner to a 5-star experience. he was a pleasure to talk and stayed back several times to make sure everything was perfect, I was impressed!
I visited Hard Rock Cafe for the first time in Paris during the soccer world cup in 1994. Since then I have been in love, but as there are few of them in Norway, it has been a long time since last visit. I love the food, the menu, buying a t shirt and enjoying the food with a cold beer. A brilliant meal today ribeye.
