Jack Rose New Orleans

Finally tried Jack Rose and it lived up to every expectation. The atmosphere is amazing with gorgeous colors and artwork everywhere you turn. The service was top notch. Our waiter explained his favorite dishes and answered all my questions (which were many) with a kind disposition and pleasant demeanor. Wine and water glasses were never low and plates were cleared promptly, throughout the entire meal. My husband had a steak that was cooked to perfection, as were my scallops.Everything we tried was so flavorful and decadent. A tiny word of caution, if you're sensitive to spice, the gumbo did have a little heat to it that could be too much for some, but it's not overwhelmingly spicy. Possibly my favorite thing,was the view from the rooftop bar when the meal was through! I can't wait to go again and try different things!

Food was excellent! Service was somewhat lacking. We got there early but as more people showed up we were tended to less. Our tiny table was cluttered as our cocktail glasses weren’t removed when we ordered new ones and when we switched from flat to sparkling water, they didn’t remove the old full glasses and champagne bottle with water.

Delicious seafood and vegetable options for brunch. Go for the mimosas with freshly-squeezed juice!
