I want to start off by saying that the service here was spectacular and the interior was cozy.

Meril is Emeril Lagasse's newest outpost in New Orleans and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

Plan a last minute business lunch after reviewing the online reviews. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that was the name) and filled prawn appetizers to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our food was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.

The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a pleasure
