Pomelo Thai Boutique - New Orleans

Visiting from out of town (NYC) got tired of all the fried food….this place hit the spot! Will be back to try the entire menu! This place is authentic with sauces, spice quality!

Wow wow wow, Pomelo is outstanding! We loved everything we ordered and Nan, our server was so lovely she gave us amazing recommendations, was super attentive, and gave us some great background about authentic Thai food. All of the dishes were styled beautifully and it was clear that everything is scratch made and super fresh. Pomelo is for sure my new favorite Thai restaurant in NOLA and we will for sure be regulars from now on.

My wife and I had an incredible meal at Pomelo out on their sidewalk seating tonight. The Som Tum platter was amazing, and our server Nan gave great recommendations on the Thai Curry Puffs and Green Curry with salmon! Will definitely be coming back a lot!

Food was good. Service was good. Place is cute. I had the Tom YUM Pasta with Salmon. Unfortunately, the fish was overcooked. The sauce was delicious. The veg was broccoli, tomatoes, and little tiny white mushrooms. It had a bit of kick to it as expected, and that was appreciated. Two of the ladies had the daily chef special. It was something Panang. One was chicken satay, I can't remember the rest, but all plates were enjoyed.

A little salty for my taste, but all my other friends like it. The flavor is impeccable. Great for dates or group gatherings. Great service. Vegetarian and large group 5-7 available, recommend calling ahead.
