St. Roch Market - New Orleans

In many larger cities, there are industrial-style eateries with multiple food options to choose from. St. Roch Market is a unique New Orleans version of this concept, with a brick exterior and charming seating area. Inside, the atmosphere is a blend of colonial and modern Victorian styles. The market offers a wide variety of cuisines, including Himalayan, Greek, fried chicken, and classic Southern seafood/Creole dishes. They also have a coffee shop with incredibly delicious cold brew. St. Roch Market truly has something for everyone's taste preferences.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and each photo in my album is from a different visit to a different restaurant – lol! I appreciate the diversity and variety of cultures, food options, and vibes that this place offers. Each kiosk brings something unique to the table, making it a great spot for meetings and meetups. The rotating chefs who come through here are pretty fantastic, and I love that eating here is never boring as the restaurants change frequently. Many of the chefs go on to open their own restaurants, which I find admirable. The restaurant does not have wait staff, and while sometimes the chefs may serve you, you often have to find your own silverware and wait for it. However, the location is great, surrounded by aesthetically pleasing buildings and shops. Overall, you will enjoy dining here.

I have always enjoyed market concepts like this because there is something for everyone. I visited Elysian Seafood and it exceeded my expectations. The crawfish etouffee had a delicious flavor of crawfish broth. The red beans and rice had a perfect level of spiciness. The crab cake was outstanding and incredibly delicious.

I stopped by for a refreshing drink, but I plan on returning for lunch because many of the stalls offer vegan menu options.

This restaurant is fantastic! It has a lovely bar, is located in a great neighborhood, and offers outdoor seating.
