Big Jims Garden Cafe - New Plymouth

The service at this restaurant is great, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. The seating options are comfortable, including some couches. It's a lovely spot to visit, whether the weather is nice or not, thanks to the beautiful views. The menu offers a wide selection, and the hot beverages are delightful.

The food is good overall. I would have enjoyed the corn and chickpea fritters more if they didn’t have chickpeas, as they lacked flavor.

This is a charming café that offers a wide selection of cabinet food as well as a diverse menu. I did find some of the cabinet items to be somewhat dry, but I highly recommend their wedges from the menu—they were outstanding! They’re probably the best wedges I've had at a café, which is quite a compliment. The café also has clean restrooms and ample parking available. There’s a small playground for children and a lovely garden area to relax in.

Still great a great place to relax and enjoy the food surroundings plus you can have those private conversations with your friends and family. It is a great place for the business get together to fellowship with colleagues.
