Írjon visszajelzéstWe started with warm bread, which I absolutely loved. For our appetizer, we ordered fried calamari with hot paprika. It was delicious—the calamari was perfectly crispy, the sauce was excellent, and the paprika added the right kick. I found the green paprika to be significantly spicier than the red, but both were definitely tasty. For my main course, I chose the shrimp parmigiana served with penne. The shrimp were smaller than I expected, but they were still quite good. My partner had the chicken parmigiana and remarked that it was tasty. I sampled a bite myself, and it was indeed delicious—light, delicate, and thinly pounded. For dessert, he opted for the apple with vanilla ice cream, and it was perhaps the best dessert we've ever had. It was incredibly flavorful; unlike typical apple crumbles that tend to be cake-like, this one was truly delightful. We are looking forward to returning to dine in the lovely dining room and to try more dishes. The pizza shop is beautifully designed, but just a heads-up: when the door opens in the loading area, it can get a bit chilly.
I absolutely love this restaurant! They have amazing salads and delicious specialties. My child is a big fan of the pizza as well.
Good menu offering delicious food. Nice and casual.
One of my favorite places to eat when visiting my daughters at Iona College. Too bad she graduated.
I've visited Gemelli's numerous times since it opened a few years ago when I was a student at Iona. The food was good as always, but this time, the service was disappointing. The server and busboy came back several times within short intervals to ask if we had finished our meal, and each time we replied that we were not done. Eventually, it became so irritating that we allowed them to clear the table and decided to continue our evening elsewhere. My advice is that if two diners are enjoying their meal and having a conversation, there's no need to disturb them repeatedly. It felt like they were trying to rush us out.
