The Oar - New Shoreham

Anthony was one of the best servers that we’ve ever had! Attentive, witty and made our visit so enjoyable! The mudslides were great too!

Visited Block Island for the first time with girlfriends. Stopped by The Oar for appetizers Mudslides. The drinks were great, food was good the service was awesome. Anthony was great. His good nature, interaction humor made our visit the highlight of the day!

I’ve been here a lot of times and have come to like their sushi a lot. I recommend their tuna loco. It’s affordable and service is fast. Takeaway is ready in ten minutes and onsite service is quick and always on hand to help. However the 6oz bling Angus burger leaves a lot to be improved. I also suggest trying their chicken strips with the sweet sriracha sauce.

Great food, in a great spot on the water. The decor is really interesting, too. MUDSLIDES!
