Paul Smythe's Twisted Fried Chicken Waffle

Absolutely amazing! I live right down the street, and for some reason, I’ve passed by this place countless times without stopping in. That was a mistake. This restaurant is definitely the best spot for dinner in Newburgh/New Windsor. Everything is incredibly fresh, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they patiently explained menu items we weren’t familiar with. I've had a lot of fried chicken in my life, but nothing compares to the chicken I had at Paul Smythe. The sides, like the mac and cheese and coleslaw, were delicious with generous portions, and they even serve Kool-Aid! You can't beat that. The chicken was out of this world; the meat was juicy and tender, and the sweet and honey glaze on it was simply divine. I can't wait to bring my dad and all my friends here to share this fantastic experience!

Today was my first visit to this restaurant, and I have to say the food was outstanding. However, the service truly surpassed the meal, which is quite an achievement. Finding excellent service these days can be challenging. Both staff members we interacted with were genuinely friendly, not the fake kind of friendliness you often encounter. If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would!

A great unique twist on chicken and waffles that hacked me. Great food, atmosphere and staff make you feel at home. I can already see this place in the food network. I suggest you stop.

Hands down the best chickens and waffles I've ever had. The perfect blend of sweet, savory and spicy. The portions were generous in view of the cost of food. I will visit this place again, with friends to try the many variations on chicken and waffles. The Jackson was great, can't wait to try the Tennessee Hot.

The food was very good! Mine was a little cold when it arrived but Mike’s almost burnt his mouth! so I guess they have to meet somewhere in the middle! But Very delicious food and the staff was great!! Will definitely return!
