If you prefer to avoid the crowds, try going after 9:30am but before 11:30am. Just keep in mind that you may miss out on some flavor options. I tried the mini bagel with lox spread (made with chunks of salmon) and it was delicious. The mini size was actually quite generous, more like a regular bagel at other places. I have no complaints about that. They also offer contactless payment, which is convenient.
This fantastic bagel shop is located away from the busy midtown area. They offer both regular and mini bagels, with options like the delicious ham, egg, and cheese on a toasted everything bagel. It can get quite crowded, but the service is fast so you'll receive your food quickly. While you can place orders online, it's usually quicker to come in and wait in line.
During our recent trip to New York City, we were eager to try the famous NY bagels. After finding this place through a Google search and reading the highly-rated reviews, we decided to visit their Chelsea location. Despite its small size, this establishment offers a wide variety of cream cheese spreads and bagels for bagel enthusiasts. We ordered an onion bagel topped with egg and garlic and herb cheese spread, as well as a sesame bagel with vegetable spread. Both bagels were generously sized with a delightful crispy-chewy crust, complemented by the flavorful spreads. The vegetable bagel was particularly delicious. In addition to our bagels, we enjoyed both iced and hot lattes. While the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, it was challenging to find a spot to sit due to the high number of customers. Despite this, we truly enjoyed our experience at this bagel shop and would recommend it to anyone visiting NYC.
Very busy and chaotic in the morning, but not too long of a wait. Hard to find a seat because there are so few tables but so many people.I tried the lox and cream cheese on pumpernickel. It was massive, could totally feed 2. As a non New Yorker, my eyes were opened to the true potential of the bagel. The slight sweetness of the bagel was so perfectly complemented by the saltiness of the salmon and the cream cheese. I also got a taste of the vegan scallion tofu cheese. Could NOT believe it was tofu. It was delicious!
I know Montreal bagels are famous but I didn't realize New York bagels are as just as good if not better visiting Manhattan for the and this was the closest bagel shop.Must say very good service very big and tasty bagel maybe a little too much herb and garlic cream cheese. Pretty pricey but I guess you pay for quality
