Really lovely, bustling ambiance with highly knowledgable staff. My date and I arrived right on time and we were seated promptly.We ordered the mushroom+potato appetizer which was DIVINE and tried to order the short rib ragu pasta special but someone else got the last one right before we ordered...which turned out perfectly because we got the gnocchi instead and it was the best gnocchi I've ever had in my life. Seriously, don't sleep on that gnocchi the texture was soft and almost melty, like a super fine mochi. I usually don't like gnocchi for how dense it was but these were airy and perfectly portioned.Also really appreciate that they have alcohol, low alcohol, and mocktail options.

How do I start! The atmosphere is quaint and warm. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The wine and food were perfect. Would definitely go back next time I’m in NY.

This is the first time my wife and I have dined here. This restaurant is far from what we call an ordinary Italian restaurant. The ingredients, the recipes and presentation of the food were all outstanding. My wife had the caccio pepe and I had the coniglio (rabbit). This was without a doubt the best rabbit dish I have had anywhere. One thing to note for big eaters, is that the portions are relatively small--more European than American.
