The alcapurrias could have used a bit more seasoning, and the filling in the pastelillos was a touch too salty. However, the highlight of the meal was definitely the bistec encebollado. The rice and beans were decent. The restaurant is small, and you have to sit outside to be served. Also, please note that they only accept cash. This place is a local staple, so keep up the good work! I hope you take this review as constructive criticism rather than negativity, as I've dined at many places.

The food here is fantastic and incredibly affordable—just remember to bring cash! Everything we tried was simply outstanding. The authentic Puerto Rican dishes have that homemade flavor, as if a loving grandmother prepared them. My kids enjoyed the half chicken served with rice and beans, along with some pernil. I opted for the mofongo with pernil, and we also ordered some maduros.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had heard many positive reviews about the food. My friends and I arrived just before 6 PM, and thankfully we did! The place is cozy, but the food is absolutely delicious! We ordered carne guisado, chicharrones de pollo, yellow rice, white rice, black beans, red beans, and a side of tostones. I will definitely return to try more dishes!

Picked up a friend and her mom for lunch, we all here for the first time, I've heard so much about this place that I couldn't wait to try the food , and it didn't disappoint. Food was Amazing and so affordable, it's a small place so depending on the time you go it could be a little bit of a wait time .

100/10. The food was amazing, packed with flavor and well textured. Arrived an hour before closing time and the place was full. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and go again.
