Írjon visszajelzéstI've always felt that JG restaurants around the city tend to be a bit overrated, like JG Columbus Circle, ABC Kitchen, and Cocina. However, my favorite from the JG lineup is still Perry Street. That said, this was the first time I genuinely enjoyed all the dishes I ordered here. I highly recommend this place!
The food was decent, and the staff were friendly. However, the chicken was a bit dry, and the lemon flavor overshadowed the sashimi, though the risotto was quite good. They did follow up on our reservation to confirm if we were coming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they didn't acknowledge it. Additionally, we booked a table for three but were seated at a large round table meant for six, which made it difficult to hear each other in the noisy restaurant.
The brunch was quite enjoyable, but the prices really reflect the ambiance! The outdoor patio seating area is stunning.
Ordered the Roasted Organic Chicken with fingerling potatoes, salsa verse and summer squash sweet. It was worth the wait considering how crunchy yet tender the chicken was. The pieces were well portioned and the flavor of the salsa verse exquisite. Almost giving off a pesto like taste. Dessert was offered in compensation for the wait. So service was definitely a high regard for them
Having a gals night out and tried this New American eatery by Jean-Georges Vongerichten serving wood-fired dishes in the Public Hotel. The cocktails wine menu had many interesting selections to choose from. My gal ordered a Strawberry Lavender Fizz and I got a White Heat with jalapeño, they did not charge you a fortune for the cocktails and tasted great. We had 3 starters to begin with and the cauliflower was amazingly good and you should try! For entree, we ordered a black truffle pizza to share, with seared scallops, short ribs and pasta (the green plate). Short ribs braised very well, juicy and tender, scallops are fine too. Pasta was just so-so, it said it’s angel hair but they did not looked like angel hair to us and the taste did not feel like pasta either. The portion was not small and fair size with the price they charged. Coconut sorbet was good and so did passion fruit, it refreshed the taste bud afterwards.
