Ra Sushi Bar Restaurant – Amsterdam Ave. Ny

Ra sushi has a great atmosphere, although it is a small restaurant. the personal is very attentive. they stand on their feet and ensure that the culinary experience is very pleasant. this restaurant prepares delicious sushi and seafood (both raw and cooked) my sohn and I really enjoyed ra sushi although they do not celebrate my birthday reserve.

We had a reservation for 2. They sat us wherever we wanted. We sat by a window. A favorite of many who go there. However, the AC vent was right near our table. So, the waiter motioned to another table that was not near a vent. So we took it! Yes, it was more comfortable. I joined their club where you get a”””$20 discount on food from M Th only. So on Labor Day , Sept 5th, I used the $20 discount offer . And, there was no limitation to it—except for taxes and drinks. I got my usual the mixed pokey bowl salmon shrimp, tuna. As always—delicious. I asked them to make it less salty, which they did . RA is very accommodating and respectful of your wishes and complaints (re AC). I usually get the Pokey bowl because it is sooo good and only $18.70 with a choice of salad or rice and with their lovely bowl of soup . The couples on both sides of our table had huge portions of sushi and sashimi and my husband and I vowed we would try their more elaborate dishes, next time. The dishes on one table looked like a work of art. The couple where taking photos of their dishes before they dug in. Also, inside is sleek w black walls w chrome touches. Very modern. Highly recommend if in the mood for Japanese food.

Got sushi lunch and tacos. Highly recommended. Fish was fresh and great service.

Don’t know how this restaurant has any good reviews. One of the worst sushi restaurants I have ever been too. Very low quality fish. Smelled very fishy

Our first time here for a dinner. The service was excellent as was the food. We had 2 specialty rolls and vegetable spring roll as an appetizer. Everything was great. Will go back.
