Takeda - New York

I visited this restaurant with my fiancé for his birthday, and we had an amazing experience. We've enjoyed many omakase dinners, but this one truly stood out. The fish was clearly of excellent quality, everything was delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It was definitely worth the price.

I absolutely love this omakase! It offers a very personal dining experience since they only have a limited number of seats available each night. You can chat with Takeda, the chef, while he prepares the sushi right in front of you. I had such a wonderful time talking to the other guests during my visit, and the food was simply exquisite! The mackerel and uni were my absolute favorites!

To describe this restaurant as outstanding would be an understatement. The quality of the fish was superb, featuring the freshest ingredients sourced from Japan. The ambiance was cozy, with the entire restaurant accommodating only eight guests. I felt like a VIP, and the setting provided a genuine and intimate experience. While the staff was very attentive, their English wasn't perfect. My only suggestion would be to provide a card with a written description of each sushi piece. However, this was a minor concern, as the overall experience was truly exceptional. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. The chef is a master at his craft. Artful and delicious and the service was incredible.

Great service and display of food. Really enjoyed the rice, they took a lot of time to get it perfect.
