The place is extremely laid back. It refreshing in a city that doesn't stop. The owners are extremely friendly. The beer is well priced. One of the few places I could order a Miller lite in a city of craft beers. I didn't eat but the menu looks extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend it if your in the area

Really yummy food in a nice cozy spot. I particularly love this place because of how old and vintage it feels. And it’s fun seeing pictures on the wall pertaining to pieces of history, such as Prohibition and so on. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. My steak, potatoes and salad costed me $20. I came here with a friend and we spent under $40. I can’t wait to come back here!!!

8/6/22 Friendly staff Armond (sp? , Tina and Tom. They made me feel welcomed at the bar immediately. Thank you to them! Good conversation with them about the history of the bar and the neighborhood. Beer specials available. Order the beef brisket sandwich with fries to go. The sandwich was AWESOME!!! The fries were hot and fresh. Their sandwich selection prices average $3 $5 below comparable bars. I’ll be back for sure.

I stopped to grab a drink with a friend. Even though I've worked in the area for seven years, it was the first time in this tavern. It was immediately warm, friendly and inviting. My Long Island Iced Tea was delicious, the music was fun and the bathroom was impeccably clean. I definitely recommend.
