Yakitori Tori Shin - New York

I loved the ambiance of the chefs table. The head chef and his assistant were extremely attentive and the servers were on point. Each course had something unique to offer. The meat was cooked to perfection and extremely tender. Each piece had the perfect amount of char and seasoning. My favorites were the grilled tile fish, chicken thigh, iberico pork shoulder with spicy garlic miso, the white squid tempura topped with uni, and I could go on and on oh yeah and the duck and chicken sausage with egg yolk. You will not be hungry at the end of the courses! I went for my birthday meal and all of the staff was friendly and welcoming. They made it a truly wonderful experience!

I had a remarkable dining experience at this restaurant. The skewered chicken parts were surprisingly delicious and well complemented by tasty seafood and red meat options. The staff provided excellent service in a quiet and attentive atmosphere with a strong focus on the food. They also offered a selection of excellent dry sake.

This is a favorite of mine. Wish I lived closer. Amazing food and great staff, Chef Kono is not to be missed.

It was like being in a high end Tokyo eatery but the chef and staff actually spoke English. Delicious and authentic .
