Coco Bistro - New York City

This restaurant was disgusting. The staff played with a dog and didn't wash their hands, and the drinks tasted like they were mixed up in a college fraternity house.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. Despite having a 4:00 reservation, we were informed that the kitchen closes from 4:00 to 5:00 to switch from brunch to dinner service.

The Coco bistro was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and the exceptional service. Our server Holly was attentive and very friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I’m a long time resident of the financial district and go out of my way to support local businesses, especially those on front st. and had the most APPALLING, RUDEST, CONFRONTATIONAL experience here on July 4th. I frequently dine out not only in the neighborhood, within the rest of nyc but also globally and I have NEVER HAD A WORSE EXPERIENCE. I also rarely write reviews in this detail but this was EXCEPTIONALLY AWFUL treatment. When we walked in the place was barely 25% full and without the host we were told to wait for a table at the bar where we proceeded to order a drink. We waited for at least 10 minutes which was fine since we were looking at the food menu. When the host approached us instead of telling us the status of the table he told us if we wanted to sit at the bar we had to order a drink which we explained we did and that we were waiting for a table. He then told us NO TABLES WERE AVAILABLE AT ALL and we had to order a drink. THE RESTAURANT HAD aa ton of tables empty and as he told me this there was a group of 4 people that walked off the street, SAT THEMSELVES DOWN and he gave them menus right away. Meanwhile, I went on open table and booked a table within 30 min. from the 4 available time slots, so why was I told to my face that NO TABLES were available? What’s also worse the bartender who we ordered the drink from stood there and just shook his head and didn’t even intervene. ANOTHER GUEST sitting next to us spoke up and advised that we ordered a drink while we waited for a table, even though that’s not another customers responsibility. We left and we will NEVER go back. We will WARN ALL OF OUR GUESTS who visit us, NEIGHBORS, COWORKERS AND OTHER LOCAL BUSINESSES WE FREQUENT how we were treated here! Maybe some people have had decent experiences but if you want consistent customer service or basic courtesy, be warned!

Came here for 4th of July brunch. The decor and ambiance were very cute and French. The service was also very French water glass empty for most of the meal and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. They are new, so they are still learning. Everyone’s food (burrata, avocado toast) was amazing.
