Ole Steen - New York City

Im so mad i ordered the 3 pastries for $13. I asked for the vanilla pastry, cinnamon social, and cinnamon swirl. What i got was two cinammon social and one raspberry pastry. I am SO disappointed because i was mainly looking forward to the vanilla cream because that is my absolute fav and is not remotely replaceable with raspberry jam. If you are out of an item, please contact the customer! i dont want a fruity pastry i wanted pastry cream. I should not have to pay full price if i get the wrong stuff. The cinnamon social is fine, a little bitter.

First breakfast I had in NYC, amazing spot for breakfast more homey and seating than the other chains I passed

Nice coffee slightly too hot for my liking but acceptable, no complaints. Nice ham and cheese croissant. Unfortunately the black currant loaf cake is a bit dry but that’s IMHO.

We all can use more Danish bakeries in the morning commute or in the afternoon tea.
