The Red Flame Diner - New York City

I had a strong craving for pancakes, and The Red Flame completely delivered. The pancakes were fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious – they’re worth every bite! The food overall was excellent; I even decided to try lunch and ordered the tuna club, which turned out to be very tasty. I definitely recommend this place for a great meal!

The moussaka was fantastic! However, they forgot the dressing for the salad and the utensils.

I ordered the turkey bacon egg sandwich and a cup of coffee here, and I have to say, it's fantastic! I'm not sure if it's the coffee itself or the barista, but it always turns out excellent. Everything here is great! This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm in New York.

If you're in search of a place for a light snack or a full meal, look no further than the Red Flame. We dined here several times during our stay, and we were truly glad that we did. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are quite generous. The staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.

I visited this restaurant with a couple of friends, and I have to say the food was quite mediocre—nothing noteworthy. We ordered fried calamari and sandwiches, but one of the sandwiches arrived with burnt bread. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, he outright claimed that the bun was grilled, not burnt. However, if you look at the picture below, you can clearly see the bread is entirely black. Rather rudely, he then asked if we wanted a new bun or a refund. We opted for a new bun, and he coldly responded that he wouldn’t grill it again. We're paying for our meals; why should we settle for burnt food? Additionally, the prices are steep and not at all justified by the food quality. I definitely won't be returning.
