Zooba - New York City

Typically, falafels can be dry, but these were excellent. I ordered the spicy version, and the heat really builds up at the end. The fries were delicious, though I had to shake off the excess dry seasoning before enjoying them.

Okay. Was worth trying, but I think I may prefer other Mediterranean food in general. Tried a trifecta of food on a whim: -3 pieces of egyptian falafel with aswani chili sauce -koshari (egypt's national dish) -classic falafel sandwich Had to try thenational dish, but it was overall just to bland for me, even with the chili sauce. The falafel was okay, but nothing above andbeyond any other falafel sandwich I can find. If I'm back in Nolita, I'd prob give this place another try with the hawawshi,but it probably won't be soon.

We had been wanting to visit this restaurant for quite some time. We've previously been to their location in Cairo, so it was interesting to compare the two. The food was delicious, and we really loved the decor and music playlist (we even saved it on Spotify!). If you enjoy Egyptian food, you definitely need to give this place a try!

This place has a fantastic atmosphere, and we were delighted to find that the food was just as enjoyable. They offer excellent vegetarian and vegan choices. The spicy falafel sandwich is a must-try! The koshary was great, and the falafels and dukkah fries were delicious. The pickled lemon sauce brought back memories of a pickle from my childhood! I also found the Egyptian grilled cheese with tapenade to be quite intriguing. Both the mint and hibiscus lemonades were refreshing and delightful!

Would recommend this! I was so surprised by how cheap it was and the food was excellent! The spices were impeccable and the meat was so tender. I even ordered some for the next day and had it cold and it was still so yummy. Can't wait to eat thisagain! There are bathrooms at this location along with tap water
