The Picnic Basket - Newark and Sherwood

Visited for first time today for lunch . Very clean and well decorated , friendly staff , very accommodating . Food absolutely excellent , delicious omelette , chips and latte , all piping hot , best I've tasted in ages . Lots of choice , prices very reasonable . Couldn't resist some fresh cream lemon sponge to bring home , which was also mouth watering . Will certainly be visiting again.

Had the big breakfast, probably the best one I've had for the price, 10/10 for presentation, and the food was excellent, polite staff. Well worth a visit

Called here for breakfast inbetween shopping..very nice food friendly staff and a good menu in this busy cafe..

This is ok if your having a take away, but not so great to sit in because you smell of the food they are cooking, eg breakfast or chips. When we walked in the tables were full of pots which hadnt been cleared and the service was very slow
