Írjon visszajelzéstThis was my first visit to the Club since it underwent a significant renovation. Its prime location in Terminal C makes it perfect for those traveling for departures, arrivals, or connections. The new interior features a modern design with a subtle color scheme, offering various seating options including booths, tables, and counters. The bar runs along the back of the Club, providing fantastic views of the tarmac. I stopped by for breakfast after arriving and again in the late afternoon before my evening flight. The hot and cold breakfast buffet was quite impressive, but the late afternoon offerings were just average. The drinks from the bar were exceptional, as were the coffees. The staff was friendly and accommodating, from the front attendants to the table service. Additionally, there are plenty of power and USB outlets available throughout the Club.
The bathrooms were clean, and I must commend the cleaning staff for their excellent service; they were very attentive to the needs of tired travelers. However, the front desk staff could benefit from some training on customer service. There’s a noticeable difference in the quality of service compared to other United Club lounges, like those in Honolulu and Houston. I was curious about the wellness area, and when I inquired with a customer service representative, she responded as if I had stolen her pet, curtly informing me that it was for breastfeeding mothers. While I think that’s a wonderful service for new moms, I couldn't help but wonder why she assumed I wasn’t one. Regardless, I appreciated having a relaxing spot to unwind until just before my departure.
I have to admit, the food is quite good. I had chicken in a cream sauce with capers paired with white rice and some additional grains, along with tofu prepared in sweet and sour sauce. The salad was fresh, there was gouda cheese available, and the brownies were delightfully fudgy—all free! The only downside was the lemon bar; it was just okay—not awful but lacked that vibrant flavor I love. Oh, and did I mention there are restrooms in the lounge? No more fighting with other patrons or cleaning staff for a private stall! Ahhhh, this really is the life!
Being a frequent traveler and a United Club member, the United Lounge at Newark (C Terminal) is hands down the best lounge I have been in! It's massive and accommodates everyone with a place to sit and relax, and the food options and presentation are the best I seen with restaurant quality selections to choose from. The amenities here are awe inspiring!
It's been a few months since I've been to this United Club location and I was pleasantly surprised to find it newly renovated. Although it is not as big and great as the United Club near gates C120-139, it has definitely improved after the renovation. Location: Terminal C near Gate 74. Go up the escalator for the entrance. Self check-in or with the attendants. Food drinks: There is both hot and cold food available. I came here in the morning and the breakfast options were adequate. I love that they have a water refill station for your personal water bottle. The bar is spacious with plenty of seating but doesn't open until 6am. Seating: Fairly spacious with comfy chairs, adequate charging ports, tables for dining, and also individual booths that are perfect to work at. Overall, a great place to relax before a flight or even stop in to just use the clean bathroom and grab a snack.
