Plum Island Beachcoma - Newbury

The calzone and steak bomb were amazing. They also had everything we forgot at home including a toothbrush!

Refused service to my friend because of how she was dressed. Not sure what kind of business especially these days can be turning people away for their attire but based on other reviews it seems to be a growing issue. She wasn’t in a bathing suit or anything she came in fully clothed like anyone would and was refused service. Very odd.

This was my first visit to this restaurant with new owners. I did not feel very welcomed by the staff. When I asked about the different types of bread available, the response was not very friendly. The woman making my food did not seem pleasant either. I just wanted a tuna sandwich to bring to Plum Island beach for the first time this summer. The only drink option offered was Polar water, which was disappointing. It would be nice to see more variety on the menu. Despite the lack of friendliness and variety, the tuna sandwich did taste good.

Place used to have good BLTS, with new owners everything went up in price, but quality went down, this sandwich has 1 tiny slice of bacon live on plum but will not be going back here

This sub shop in the neighborhood may not be anything extraordinary, but it is reliable, tasty, and convenient when you're hungry on the Island. They offer staple items in the store, although the selection is not very extensive.
