Hunan Yuan - Newbury Park

The food lacked flavor. The sweet and sour pork was quite disappointing. I can't believe I spent $40 on a meal that would have been better coming from the freezer section.

The taste is so so. Make sure to ask the owner to wash the wok before cooking your food. We asked why our dish has so much black stuff like teflon in it, and the owner admitted that they don't wash the wok that often, only wash once after cooking 3 or 4 dishes. Hope they can improve this.

This is a small restaurant in a Mall Strip. The food was delicious and her service was great. As a rule, you will receive fine cookies in Chinese restaurants, but they gave us our cookies before our meal and orange slices. Really nice!

This restaurant is located on the hill. It used to be fantastic, but recently the quality of the food has declined. I don’t know what else to say. I was a regular customer, but it really went downhill last year. The food still tastes okay, but it seems like they’re cutting back on ingredients.

Amazing! Best General Tso chicken I have ever had, no cap. The dumplings where also great. And we got some free wontons chips to top it off! Highly recommend.
