Caffe Nero - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

Even though it's a chain restaurant, I really enjoy this place. The ambiance is nice, with chilled music playing in the background, and the staff are polite and friendly. They even allow dogs, which is a plus. They serve paninis that can be warmed up, as well as tasty cakes. I often bring my elderly mother here and she enjoys it as well. It's a great spot to meet up with friends and you can people-watch from the windows.

The coffee at this restaurant is much better than Costa. It's not as bitter! Today, I had the Colombian roast.

The staff at this cafe were not very helpful and the tables were not dried off properly after being wiped down. The seating was mostly poor and looked like it needed to be replaced. I was also not pleased with dogs being allowed in the store, except for guide dogs. Overall, the standard of Cafe Nero was lacking. However, the coffee and cakes were excellent and the outside logo boards still looked cool. Unfortunately, my experience was let down by the issues mentioned earlier. Regards, Good Cafe Reviews.

The only cafe Nero experience out of 200 visits nationwide that doesn't award stamps for own cup or when using the Meerkat app. Staff's ability to be courteous and belligerent to customer at the same time was interesting. It will be a one-off...
