Írjon visszajelzéstI am extremely disappointed with the Lord of the Rings supper club event I attended tonight. I had been eagerly anticipating it for weeks, expecting beautifully crafted vegan dishes across seven courses. However, my experience fell short of expectations. The first course was simply an oatcake with a small amount of vegan cream cheese, followed by a pitta bread for the second course. The subsequent courses included a tiny falafel, chopped tomato and melon, a mushroom and asparagus dish, a small tofu pie with bread and chutney, and a small piece of cake. The quality and quantity of the food did not justify the £25 price tag per person. The atmosphere at Kommunity was nice and the staff were friendly, but the overall dining experience was disappointing. This event had the potential to be great with better execution by skilled chefs, but unfortunately, it fell short.
I recently discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant! The ambiance is so relaxing and welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. I ordered the drunken sailor tacos and they were amazing! It's great to find some innovative vegan options in Newcastle. I can't wait to come back and sample the rest of the menu!
I have visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times now. I have always enjoyed the food, which is also good value. My only complaint is that the service is too slow. I understand that the food is made fresh, but I have never had to wait as long at any other restaurant. I am not sure if it is due to a lack of staff or if the food could be more prepared in advance. Unfortunately, my family has decided not to return for now. If the restaurant speeds up their service, I believe they will see more customers returning.
I love Wildflower Creative Kitchen the relaxed vibe and creative menu is always tempting. The staff are lovely and friendly.
Booked this as a birthday treat for my sister. The evening was advertised as a Disney supper club. When we arrived we were told we were top early and couldn't even wait inside. (We had travelled an hour And only came for the event so didn't really want to do anything else for the 10 minutes before. The guy started smoking right there so we went for a walk. When we got back the place was full and we only really went round the block so felt a little annoyed that we had been treated that way. There weren't enough servers on to get drinks served quickly or efficiently at the beginning. The toilets are really disgusting. There was a singer on as part of the evening and she was amazing. Hildy Harland. She was delightful and had a great voice and made the evening much better than it would have been without her. The food was 5 courses so you would expect to leave full. We were all left hungry. The first course was half of a salad garnish. A slice of cucumber cut in two, tiny bit of tomato and some herbs thrown on top. Course 2 was delicious, radish with an Asian peanut sauce. There just wasn't enough of it. Course 3 was deep friend sweet corn with a horrid sauce. Could have been much better. Course 4 was a smear of custard on the plate with what they called a donut... it was a deep friend something . And the fourth course was a yucky macha sweet. I don't like macha but my sister ate hers. The food was mostly bland and a huge disappointment. It was all vegan and is not a good advertisement for anyone thinking of becoming one. There are so many delicious things they could have done to create a Disney themed vegan menu but they didn't do any of them. (The couple sat near us actually left nearly everything on their plates) Cocktails were ok but came in a tiny glass which is a shame for the price. And they sold out of prosecco that was disappointing too. Without the music this would have been a rubbish night and I most certainly won't be going back in a hurry. Upsetting because I have only heard good things about it before today.
