Smoothie King - Newington

Very clean location and employees are friendly. When busy, Sometimes there's a lack of organization which causes confusion when prepping smoothies and passing them out. They do their best to make sure everyone leaves happy though. Smoothies are great. Lots of options and great size options as well.

The smoothies are great, but the management is a nightmare. They are a franchise and I have had multiple issues where they will not honor the promotions that corporate has sent out. Luckily, corporate has always made amends but the customer service at this store leaves a lot to be desired. The owner, Neel Patel, is especially rude and disrespectful, and really needs a class in how to treat a customer.

This is the best smoothie you can get. They got great flavors and it’s also pretty healthy

This place is clean however the staff and the owner are not. Ive been in here many times and I have seen the employees and the owner and his wife. Come in for their shift without washing their hands and start making smoothies. I have heard the owner speak horribly disrespectful to customers. Granted the smoothies are great but it’s because the company makes good smoothies. But this individual franchise owner is not someone I want to give my money too. So I will continue to go to Emerald city smoothie or any other smoothie place. I have also heard through friends that this franchise owner is looking to open other locations in west Hartford and/or Glastonbury, I will certainly be avoiding those locations too. sure on here he will respond professionally but in person he will verbally and publicly slotter me.

Great smoothies, great service! I love that this business requires masks to be worn inside. It's a simple way to help people feel safer and cared for. Much appreciated!!
