The Taphouse At Nye Creek - Newport

I ordered three shrimp salads to go, but what I received was basically a Caesar salad with a few shrimp on top for $17 each. I found it quite disappointing. While the Caesar salad was tasty, there was hardly any shrimp, no dressing at all, and I didn’t receive any napkins or cutlery. I live in Newport, and since it's still vacation season, I was really unhappy with this experience. The second order didn't meet my expectations either and wasn't worth the price. I’ve always enjoyed eating inside, but I can't recommend ordering takeout.

I absolutely love this place! The hamburgers are the best we've ever had, and the waiting staff is incredibly friendly. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. We'll definitely be returning!

What a pleasant surprise! Since we're new to Nye Beach and Newport, we decided to give this place a try for lunch. We ordered a couple of salads and a brew, and both were outstanding with some unique twists. Honestly, there are only a few restaurants in the area that offer upscale and interesting dishes, and this one definitely deserves a spot on that list. Initially, we hesitated to try the taphouse because it seemed similar to Rogue Brewery, which we love for their Kobe Burger and Stout just across the bridge. However, while the taproom appears straightforward, it has much more to offer. We plan to return for both lunch and dinner to explore more of the menu. Enjoying our time in Nye Beach, Oregon!

What a fantastic addition to Nye Beach and Newport! The tap room is thoughtfully designed with a touch of humor. The cheerful yellow chairs for outdoor seating perfectly enhance the fun atmosphere. With 24 beers on tap, most from Oregon-based breweries, there's plenty to choose from. The menu features shareable options as well as classic pub fare. We tried the delicious Brussels sprouts to share. I enjoyed a refreshing cocktail made with pink gin from Rogue. Our server was great, providing us with detailed insights about the restaurant and the chef.
