The restaurant is equipped with 15 feet high panoramic windows and a retractable roof for the interior together with a terrace on the water to see luxury yachts in and out of Newport Bay.

This waterfront restaurant is ideal for locals and travellers visiting Orange County. It is located in Newport Dunes Resort near the boat ramp and opposite the Back Bay nature reserve. Insert your parking card to be validated. The view and the dining room are beautiful. The ceiling and the windows are high and the roof is retractable so that sunlight and fresh air come. There are tables for small groups and large for big parties. Reservations are recommended.

In the popular Upper Newport Bay with panoramic views of the nature conservation of Back Bay, Back Bay Bistro is a contemporary 199 seat dining house with a range of innovative design elements, including large gilded framed mirrors, comfortable pasture chairs, lounge seating in the bar and a sophisticated retractable awning that gives the restaurant a “convertable roof”. With 60 fresco seats that offer guests refreshing breeze from Newport Back Bay, the restaurant specialises in fresh, sustainable seafood.

Both the Saturday and Sunday brunches are excellent and reasonably priced. It's amazing such an excellent restaurant would be at an RV park. No trailer park trash here, however!
