Írjon visszajelzéstI unfortunately didn't have the best experience here. I recently hydroplaned, spun, and rolled my vehicle then was ambulance to this ER. The staff were kind people but I did not receive good care. I was pretty much forgotten about until I had to call for ibuprofen for a headache and neck pain. They were quick with getting my blood test of course but the doctor just felt my neck and stomach to see if I had any pain, I had a ton of adrenaline in my system so I was not aware of any damage done to my body and instead of them monitoring and caring, I had to ask for it. Shortly just when I was going to be discharged after no other scans or tests were done my mother-in-law had to advocate for some kind of test, which they would only allow an x-ray of my neck. I was not given treatment for the next steps of recovery. Thankfully I can still see other doctors and my chiropractor to figure out what's happening. I hope they can invest more into the quality they offer to any future patients and add some care.
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. I wish I read the reviews prior but in an emergency situation we ended up at the ER at Hoag, the staff was extremely rude and dismissive. I wouldn’t trust my life in their hands as the incompetence was very clear. It’s like they are against you rather than trying to help you. Again I can’t reiterate enough to please try and select another ER as you will regret coming here and potentially might be in a medical dangerous situation where the treatment team disregards critical information.
I have been here a few times…once for an asthma attack and once for severe chest pain. They were amazing both times…kind, thorough, and efficient. I feel fortunate to live close to Hoag.
The waiting room was full but was wait time was appropriate , I ended up having something more serious so had to do a 2 night stay and I must say they treated me like royalty , very friendly staff! The people in triage a very personal humble attitude all the way to the room the nurses and team on 7th west floor! , very attentive doctors really get to the bottom of what’s going on with you. not being from California having friends or fam was little scared and lonely but the way the staff made me feel, i knew i was in great hands and for that I truly thank Hoag for it!
My mom has been to this ER so many times I can’t keep track. She is fighting cancer, got a pet scan that says she now has pneumonia it’s hard for her to breathe already sue to the lung cancer. Urgent care said for her to go to the ER because she needed to be treated right away, yet she’s been waiting over 3 hrs so far tonight…Last time she waiting over 7 hours and the longest she’s had to wait was over 12 hours. She’s also in her seventies and my dad is exhausted waiting by her side. Clearly our medical system is broken.
