Sidedoor - Newport Beach

Drinking were slowly 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink

Absolutely love everything about the side door. great decor, excellent food and service. best fish and chips, first class rib sandwiches and drinks. the foot distance to the beach is a bonus.

For the second visit in a row came our order wrong.

I don’t ever do this or complain but waiter was just okay. Pretty disappointed. His service was very slow and blamed the manager and other staff. To be honest the other staff were great and they deserve the tip more than he did. He also told us he didn’t care because he was leaving in two weeks. That’s not the way to serve your customers. We love the Side Door and were in shock. We will be back.

Very much enjoyed our experience. Would love to see the reuben sandwich back on the menu though.
