Mcdonald's - Newport News

Hands down the WORST McDonalds I've ever been to. The drive thru is terrible. I've been to this drive thru multiple times, waiting over 20 minutes, and finally just pulled away and left. When they renovated and added an extra lane, I thought it would be better. NOPE. I don't come here anymore despite it being half a mile from my house. I drive out of my way if I want McDs. Who is running this joint???

It's McDonald's, you know what to expect, and that is what you get.

I rarely eat fast food but went for lunch today which I understand is busy. Drive thru was packed so went inside for carry out. Self serve kiosk where apparently the only option. Placed order and waited for food. I got my order after about 15 minutes. The person ask of I had a drink. I told him an unsweetened tea which I placed when I made my kiosk order. It was sweet. Walked back in and got that fixed. I didn't check the bag but there was no bbq sauce like I asked for at the kiosk. Plus the fries and nuggets were not warm at all.?

Got a double Big Mac.. wowza.It was good, exactly as expected!.. can’t blame inflation for our new “value of the dollar.” But this was delicious!

This McDonald's is great! We dined in and had breakfast. Service was fast, and the food was good. Nice and hot. Very clean inside. I'm not sure why this location has such bad reviews. Maybe it's a later in the day thing. Who knows. All I know is that I enjoyed my experience here.
