The Millstone - Newton-le-Willows

I popped in for a quick drink before my train. It was a quiet place with a great selection of lovely gins to choose from.

The restaurant wasn't open at noon on Friday as it claimed, which was particularly disappointing since it was race day!

Fantastic pub! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly! You definitely need to visit!

Serve San Miguel, Moretti, and Amstel. Great selection of beers!

Update: After we finished our second round, I noticed that some older gentlemen were refused service at 10:10 PM. They mentioned they believed last orders were at 10:30 PM, and the bartender confirmed this. It feels like the staff here (at least the one I encountered) are more focused on closing up and leaving early rather than serving their customers.
