Farmhouse - Newtown

I cannot thank Michelle and Team enough for a last minute larger party reservation today! The food was beyond fresh and amazing and the service was gracious and spot on. The atmosphere was so comfortable and they helped decorate with our little party touches. And looking at the menu, if you are worried about vegan, allergies, gluten free, etc, the Team takes the time to read ingredients and the Chef can accommodate. So fresh. So delicious. But now that my friends and I know the best kept secret in Newtown, we will be brunching quite often!

Awesome local spot with some of the best food I've had in a while. Found the Farmhouse when looking for a place to take my wife for our anniversary. The pictures, menu, and reviews led me to believe this was a good choice. That was an understatement to say the least! Had reservations but arrived early which was not an issue even though it was busy. The hostess was welcoming and quite friendly, as was our waiter who was attentive but not overly so. We tried a few appetizers (Escargot and meat/cheese board which were fantastic (best escargot my wife has had! . The main entrees were just awesome, the scallop dinner I had was bar none the best seafood dinner I've had in a long time. The duck my wife ordered was cooked perfectly and not a scrap was left! Hands down my new favorite spot for a nice night out or lunch if I am in the area (sadly we are 45 min away Just to add, the prices were reasonable, portions great and quality was fantastic (if that wasn't obvious !

You'll find it hard to choose from the menu because everything sounds delectable—and it truly is. You could simply close your eyes, pick an item, and you’ll never be disappointed. I challenge you to try that at other restaurants! The farm-to-table concept also eases my conscience about dining out frequently, as every meal supports local businesses and farmers. Compared to any other restaurant, Agriturismo stands out as a gem.

Lovely Sunday brunch in Agriturismo. Michele is the best owner and host. She's always there to make sure things run smoothly. She's sincere and friendly. The food is so good and considering how prices have risen, Michele did not raise her prices as much as everyone appreciates. The cook is fabulous!! Very recommended, but always try to make a reservation first. Of course, she has a whole house.
