1877 Osteria Tipica Risotteria Panineria

We had a very good time at the 1877 osterium. the kindness of the waitress (mainly French) his good advice and the generosity of the portions have conquered us. It is certainly the best quality/money ratio since the beginning of our stay in a room. Go ahead, you will not be disappointed by this place whose motto at the entrance is that you enter here as customers and you go out as friends when to say, it's done!

After most nicolosi had wandered around, tried to eat somewhere what (a) was open as we were early, but all hungry after a day climbing etna and (b) the family would eat. the risk on osteria 1877, read a few of the negative reviews and was pleasantly surprised. only customers, service friendly and eat very well. daughter loved her seafood risotto and I really enjoyed the calf strength, spinat was very beautiful.

It was a rainy night when we arrived (and were the only table), but soon the place filled with people and what was created for a warm atmosphere for all of us. we ordered the Sicilian appetizers for the table and teller and teller arrived of food...bored... from a large part of the selection, but much cheese as well. there was a great pasta with wild mushrooms and the meatballs with lemon aroma were so good! the sangria is not to miss and the cripple of house wine went well with the hours of food we enjoyed! great owners!

The restaurant was warm, made from an old winery. Excellent, typical Sicilian food. Friendly staff. best meal on trip.

First night gamble proved to be a good choice. Initially thought we might leave immediately because we were the only patrons but decided to give it a whirl. Soon we were joined by 15 other covers and we ordered the fish risotto. Service was good...and the food excellent and the wine was most acceptable. All in all an enjoyable, inexpensive evening with the bonus of a free pistachio liqueur.
