Can you visit Chicago and not have an Italian beef sandwich? So good and fresh cut fries to go with it. Excellent food and owner was so nice. My only complaint was the fact that the restaurant was really hot. Air conditioner was not working and it was 90+ degrees outside that day. Overall an excellent experience.

I just recently had my 1st Al's italian beef and instantly feel in love. It is the best beef sandwich I have ever had. I ate 1/2 and 2 days later ate the 2nd piece. It was just as delicious. I'm ready for another one. I understand why they're #1.

Best Italian Beefs in the city. Make sure you get it with the hot giardinara. Everything else is optional. This location has a drive through as well, which is nice if you're in pajamas.
