Iron Shoe Distillery - Niles

I adore this restaurant. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the cocktails are amazing.

Two out of four people ordered the pork nachos and both of them got sick with diarrhea.

I first saw Pulp Fiction almost 30 years ago, and the cheeseburger scene from the movie always stayed with me. Recently, I jokingly mentioned how I've been craving a Big Kahuna Burger ever since. Luckily, I was directed to Iron Shoe Distillery. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The burger was absolutely worth the wait, and I certainly won't be waiting another 30 years to have it again. With its delicious combination of burger, cheese, grilled pineapple, and bacon, what's not to love? They also had a great selection of beverages, and I opted for the cherry limeade. In addition, I tried their Parmesan truffle fries and crispy fried brussel sprouts, and everything was perfect. Iron Shoe Distillery definitely exceeded my expectations.

Very disappointed in my burger from there tonight. Usually love their food. The bun was cold like pulled right from the fridge, burger tasted terrible. They were very busy, very under staffed. Bright side, my 2 drinks were good. Won’t be back for a while.

Portion size for the full order Quinoa salad is very small. Could use a couple more handfuls of Spinach and a couple more spoonfuls of Quinoa. Otherwise very good!
