Le Regent Niort

We were driving back from Northern Spain to Amsterdam and stayed overnight in Niort. We walked to this bistro from our hotel and found a lovely outside terrace. The menu was straight forward: you choose from five different meats/fish and this is served with a...sauce, a large bowl of salad and an even larger bowl of fries. Excellent value for money.

Doughnuts available late? Count me in! I had to have the O.GI also got a chocolate one but can't remember the name for the life of me.

They look sooo pretty! Kinda like a hot chick but with nothing going on inside. Taste wise ..

Lunch on a Saturday noon with about 30 people, very beautiful and spacious room. simple but very good meals. I'm advising you her scum. She's very succulent. fast and pleasant service. quality/price ratio very well.

You have to take this restaurant for what it is, a family kitchen without pretensions, but good. a pleasant atmosphere with a somewhat overanimated style that brings us back a few years back, which is appreciable at the time of smartphones and permanent stress. I have lunched quietly, without being slapped and I have taken advantage of the gourmet coffee, copied and much cheaper than anywhere else.
