El Charro - Nixa

I was treated out to this establishment by some friends. While it was a good experience, it doesn't really stand out much. But it should be noted that this should at least be the standard at other establishments. Staff were courteous and to the point. Food was ok. Flavors were good, although the steak was a bit tough. Plenty to fill you up. What was a surprise here was my Painkiller drink. Wow! I've had Painkillers elsewhere but this was by FAR the strongest one made.

There are other Mexican food restaurants in Springfield with much better food. Prices high for what you get. Service was good though. Doubt I will be back.

As a Hispanic that grew up in Mexico with authentic Mexican food, I say this place is pretty close! I usefully go to the Ozark location and I say the same with them also. Usually I find good Mexican food in small towns, and them being I in a bid town surprised me how good it was. The service was great with regular healthy check ins. They respected my commendations of not being able to eat meat cause of a medical condition. My friend hates avocado and they put it on the side (cause he always gives it to me . I will definitely always choose an El Charro got my mexican food craving days.

So I have eaten there many times. Sometimes twice a week.. their food is always good and fresh. Except once the chips were stale.. no big deal sometimes that happens.. I asked to trade them for others and the girl started an argument with me how they're not still they make them fresh every day and she seemed angry and I said will they seem like they're not as good as they usually are could I please just get some different ones and she continued to want to argue.. by saying again that they are fresh they make them there everyday.. well I'm a grown adult and it's not that big a deal that the chips were stale but it is that big a deal for a young girl to start an argument with me over it

Great food, best Mexican rice I’ve ever had. They fajitas are great. We’ve gone here for 10 years and still enjoy it!
