Gasthaus Zur Sonne Volker Gringel

We went home and were here for the very good reviews. When we saw that a bigger company was, the owner offered us a table with the indication that it could take a little longer. We were all the more surprised when we quickly got our food before the pots were filled at the buffet. The food was delicious and fresh. Access via the federal road is available a parking lot in the backyard. EC payment possible.

Good German cuisine. Always delicious. Mr. Gringel is standing in the kitchen for years and his wife tries to satisfy their guests every desire. Two larger rooms are also available for celebrations of any kind. If it's too warm or sometimes too loud you can find a place on the covered terrace. Parking is sufficient on the farm behind the house.

Quick friendly service, very attentive. Best Thuringian cuisine at a very fair price. A very rewarding and quick detour from the highway.

Very recommended restaurant! On the right! side of the B7, just behind Erfurt towards Weimar, the “Gasthaus zur Sonne” awaits its guests. With great ambience, super food at normal prices and friendly hosts, we have celebrated our birthday in family. Our dog was also welcome. We were lovingly cared for and will be happy to come back at any time. In beautiful weather, you could have taken a seat in the idyllic outdoor area. The car finds its safe place on its own farm. The B7 is not to be noticed.
