Írjon visszajelzéstHusband and I had dinner and it was delicious. We ordered a bread and calamari to share. Hubby ordered lamb shanks and I ordered the eye fillet. Both dishes were excellent and quite large portions. Sadly we both couldn't finish our mains. Would have loved to try dessert!
We had a great dinner here in 2014 so decided to go back. You can sit outside on the pavement in a tent-like affair with gas heaters which we asked to be turned down as they were so hot. It is very upmarket and expensive but the food was very good. The barramundi was the best we had this trip.But something was missing from last time. I think it was an overall attitude of take it or leave it which I wouldn't expect in a place where we paid over A$170 for 2, including a bottle of fairly ordinary wine for A$49. Maybe we should have gone to the Boardwalk Bistro which looked nice and offered a 10% discount to guests of our motel.
Well positioned in Hastings Street...has Italian menu but seems to over complicate the dishes with too many elements...reasonable wine list. Service seems challenged and we had long waits between courses. There are better spots in Hastings Street.
We again dined at La Vida with family. We sat outside they had heating going so it was very comfortable..Our gran children chose here because they like drawing on the paper table cloth..We had the early bird specials which was fine. The kids meals came out very promptly.Service and food as usual were to a high standard.
