The Granary - Norfolk

Great food and service. Two times. A little difficult to locate, but worth it.

The chicken fried steak is so good. The Thousand Island dressing on your salad is nice and thick like what we use to get in restaurants. The servers are exceptionally in top of serving. We have eaten here 2 times in the last week. I enjoy the food takes me back to when I was young and eating in a family restaurant.

Foods always spot-on. Kitchen's cleaned staff super nice and nothing like the carryout. Call it in pick it up and bring home yummy delicious food. It's our go-to when I'm looking for Home Cooking but I don't feel like doing the cooking. And their beef gravy is the best and their pies are Mile High.

My second job was here in 1973...Kings drive in. Worled there when it became grainary too. French cheesies are a classic, as are onion rinfs, big burger platter, steaks are lower end, very thin. Go elsewhere for Steaks. But American fair is awesome.

This restaurant is always bustling for a reason – they offer incredible food and service! The customer service is excellent, and the ambiance feels like home. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!
