The Rustic Tart - Norfolk

Not exactly what I expected, but this is the cutest little place! Not many dessert options but the ones they do have, they do it well. Pecan bar with chocolate ice cream was amazing. Not much room to sit with a big party. Taste testing is alllwed and they even had bite sized samples of the pecan bar

I went to Rustic Tart for the first time yesterday and it was delicious. I tried the apple pie and the peach cobbler and my entire family devoured my 2 slices with me. I also tried the vanilla honey homemade ice cream which was delicious. Hopefully they will sell that by the container soon to take home. I am glad I tried this place. I will be ordering a large apple pie for a family and friends gathering since I have finally found a dessert job that I love which is rare in this area. My fam and I are from GA so many dessert places we have tried in VA doesn’t leave a lasting impression. But Rustic Tart is extremely good. I would recommend.

The customer service here is amazing and so are the pies! I came in to order a whole pie and picked up other pie pieces to try as well, the chocolate and caramel chess pies were definitely my favorite. I ordered a whole pecan pie and unfortunately when I came in, I wasn’t able to pick it up. Stuff happens and she was very apologetic.The owner was so sweet and made sure I didn’t leave empty handed. I will definitely be coming back!

Their piecassos are wonderful! Buttery flaky crust and soft pound cake filling! Always a joy coming in!

We were in town for a bodybuilding show that my fiancé was competing in was looking for some good home cooked pies we couldn't be happier to come across this little hidden gem! Welcomed with such warm greetings! Now, this was my first time ever having an apple pie so I was super excited! The pie was super flaky light with the perfect amount of sweetness real apples! We also got a blackberry/ blueberry single pie/ tart...whoa! Hands down, the flavors for both items was DELICIOUS! I definitely recommend this place! And FYI, all the bakery items are cooked fresh, so come get them before they're all sold out for the day!
