Lassoni - North Arlington

I ordered to go food, my chicken was uncooked/pink, I called the restaurant to let them know, they said and I quote “if I didn’t want it pink, I should’ve asked for it to be more cooked” what does that even mean??? I had to go in person to bring the food back they didn’t even offer over the phone to have it recooked/ or a refund. It was supposedly my fault, anyways. The way this was handled unprofessional, no apology or anything as well (I was not rude at all) honestly understanding because I have worked in food industry before but this is another level wow.

First thing first I 'll start off with the customer service it is horrible. We came to eat here my whole family my wife and kids had to wait for 10 min for someone to ask if we wanted to drink something unbelievable. We order food and they brought the wrong dishes and the waitress was arguing that she brought the correct plate. I decided to stick with what they gave me (ordered NY strip and received pork chop). After taking a few bites I notice my child was choking on a mozzarella stick. I was screaming and asking for help and everyone looked at my son turning blue and choking. No one from the staff helped that 's when I stood up and grabbed my child and slammed him on the table and started to punch him in the throat so that the cheese would come unstuck. I never had this happen to me never again would I come here. The waitress even had the nerve to say don 't forget to tip and that 's when I got furious. I slammed the waitress on the floor and threw a couple quarters and said keep the change.

I had ordered plain grilled chicken with pasta to go, when we got it I did not notice until half way that the chicken was still pink. Never did I think this would happen, I called the restaurant to let them know nicely and to see if they would offer to remake another chicken... anything of the sort. NOPE, they put me on hold to talk to the chef the chef told them to tell me, that if I didn 't want it that way, I should asked for it to be cooked more. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. ITS LITERALLY PINKK/UNCOOKED, I was obviously furious and went to the store, in pajamas because I did not want to leave the house in the first place, just for them to tell me the same thing. I don 't understand, you serve uncooked chicken and blame it on us. After that customer service and the way things were handled I wouldn 't recommend this place, yes they may have great service at first, but wait until something goes wrong, now it 's your fault

We had our repast lunch her today after my father's funeral. First time ever hear and really chose this place because of the price and menu selections. While we didn't know what to expect and hoped for the best. It was wonderful! We arrive 20 minutes early from the cemetery and they welcomed us and seated us right away. Our menu was rigatoni with marinara sauce, a green salad, then a choice of either chicken franchese, eggplant parm or salmon and coffee/tea etc and an assortment of cookies. We were a party of 20 and everyone enjoyed their meals, even the kids! The service was on point, very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for any sort of party and my husband and I want to come back just for a dinner to check out more of the menu.

Great Italian Restaurant in town! A go to for me and my wife! We loved and always experience great service and good food!
