Írjon visszajelzéstLast time we were on Arran, the café was sadly closed, and so we were very excited to try it this time. Very friendly staff and a lovely selection of cakes and traybakes to choose from. Lovely views from inside the café and from the outside seating. Would recommend if passing and we will return soon.
As this was the only place open in the village I decided to accept the distinctly tourist prices and the inevitable greetin ' wean , but as I went to sit down I was intercepted by a member of staff; The table 's booked. Just the typical Scottish Tourist Industry experience if you try to eat local , I will bring my own food in future.
Staff were very friendly, coffee was cheap, tasted nice. But looking at the price of food was on the expensive side.
I stopped at this restaurant to refuel after hiking up to Glenashdale Falls. I ordered a toasty with salad, and the homemade coleslaw was delicious. The scones, which were obviously freshly baked, were the best I have tasted in many years - even better than my mother's. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, as it will not disappoint.
I want to thank you for warmly welcoming me and my large backpack, as well as for serving me delicious, hot, and wonderful food. The waitresses were lovely and made me feel very welcome. I am currently walking the entire coast of the UK solo to raise money for the RNLI, using my Big Agnes tent named Aggie. I began my journey on July 4th and have walked over 9,000 miles so far. Your hospitality meant a lot to me, so thank you.
