Manny's Mediterranean Cafe

The first time in this cozy caffe. the Greek menu points were good. husband had a burger and said it was excellent. waitress very attentive and friendly.

The Greek Salad with shrimp was great. (The kitchen staff even removed the tails from the shrimp for us. Also a hit the Greek potatoes. Good place for a light dinner before going to the theater.

We made reservations at Manny's because it was close to an event at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Unfortunately the food was incredibly poor, service was lackluster, and even with very few people (now we know why) in the restaurant, they were very slow. We will not return. Love this kind of food, but Manny's does not know how to cook it.

We decided here before a show in north charleston performing arts center on a Saturday evening to dinner because it is near the venue and the demand for Greek food. the waitress (kaitlin was charming and enthusiastic, and the restaurant was not very busy. we enjoyed our Greek food selection (the gyros were excellent, but the lemon chicken soup had too much salt and pfeffer, and was somewhat disappointing. a diner ordered a white pizza (10 which was very delicious. overall I would recommend this restaurant.

While some of the food was good, the pizza was not good at all. it tasted burned/white and it took too long.
