Johnny C's Diner - North Devon

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was of excellent quality, with a wide selection to choose from. The service was exceptional and I can't wait to go back. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere. It was a great place for a lunch meal and the price per person was very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10. I highly recommend dining here.

We came here for brunch after being told by another fancy coffee shop just down the road that we couldn't come in with our dog, in spite of her being in a buggy. I have no problem with places having a no dogs policy, but do object to being spoken to rather nastily. The welcome at Johnny's couldn't have been more different. They were very happy for us to come in with the dog and greeted us all warmly. We ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, and coffee. The eggs were rich and buttery and delicious. We're both coffee aficionados, and agreed that the coffee was excellent and we don't often rate coffee shops so highly. So if you're needing a coffee in Ilfracombe, go to Johnny C's and not the flint hearted place down the road.
