Evergreen - North East Lincolnshire

I ordered a chicken with mushrooms and chow mein, and it arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food had a sour and fishy taste, despite being a chicken dish. I attempted to request a partial refund due to the subpar quality of the meal, but my request was denied and my complaint was ignored.

I have been ordering from Evergreen for years and it is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Delivery can take some time, but it is much quicker if you choose to pick up your order. The staff is always friendly and I would definitely recommend it.

It is shocking that my order was delivered in only 17 minutes from the time I placed it, especially considering the restaurant is 2 miles away. It is obvious that all the food was microwaved, as there is no way anything on my order could have been cooked fresh, including the chips.

Having used several Chinese takeaways over the last 20 years in the Cleethorpes area we became fed up with the inconsistent quality of the food, so we changed to evergreen and glad we did. Excellent value and good quality is what you receive and delivered promptly when required. They always spice my curry up when asked and is always consistent. The chow mein very tasty and king prawn fried rice is excellent. And they produce proper Chinese style gravy sauce. Recommended.
